Ingredients

  • 1 package 14.3 oz of Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

For the Coating

  • 12 oz white or semi-sweet chocolate melted
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil optional, for smoother coating

  • Red and green sprinkles

Instructions
 

Preparing the Oreo Mixture

  • Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and blend until finely crushed.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos, softened cream cheese, and peppermint extract. Mix until the ingredients form a smooth dough.

Rolling the Balls

  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll into smooth balls.
  • Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the freezer for 15–20 minutes.

Dipping in Chocolate

  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth. Add vegetable oil for a shinier finish if desired.
  • Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, coating it completely.
  • Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing the ball back onto the parchment-lined sheet.

Adding Garnishes

  • Sprinkle crushed candy canes, sprinkles, or drizzle additional chocolate over the coated balls before the chocolate sets.
  • Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature or in the fridge.
